Excellent alternative to chia seeds, also known as a natural plant source of high concentrations of essential fatty acids, most of which are polyunsaturated, as well as of dietary fiber, essential amino acids and numerous other valuable nutrients. Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, soluble and insoluble fiber, protein, vitamin B1 and magnesium.
They are usually consumed as part of a healthy breakfast, but can also be incorporated into bread or pastry dough. One of the best combinations is a breakfast which consists of flax seeds mixed with yoghurt because, when prepared like this, they turn into an emulsion and are more easily digested, which is why the body is able to utilize their nutritional value more easily.
The seeds can be used whole, but they can also be grinded and added to bread roll mixtures, various dishes, sauces, salads and soups.
The product may contain traces of nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds.
